USS Shenandoah Print

It may not look like much at at 540 pixels wide, but this is our latest thing. Christened on October 10th, 1923, the USS Shenandoah was one of the US Navy's first rigid airships. On September 3, 1925, less than two years into her service, she was caught in a violent thunderstorm over Ohio. The 680-foot, 37-ton ship was literally torn to pieces, and fourteen crewmen, including her captain, lost their lives.

Superman

Just a late-night sketch.

Guibord Island/Stay Island

You can't please everyone, they say, but we keep trying. My sister-in-law (Debbie Guibord) and brother-in-law (Ken Stay) own an island in Lake Champlain. She refers to it as Guibord Island; he, not surprisingly, refers to it as Stay Island. For Christmas, we made them one of our rusticated wood signs, this one reversible.
